Patriot Guard Final Itinerary for
Fallen Hero US Army PFC Cody G Baker
KIA 03 Aug 2011 - Operation Enduring Freedom
Funeral Date and Location: 13 August 2011 - Holton, Kansas


Pfc Cody Baker

Private First Class Cody G. Baker, 19, Holton, Kansas was one of two soldiers
killed in action 03 August 2011 while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in
Wardak Province, Afghanistan. Enemy forces attacked their vehicle with an
improvised explosive device. Pfc Baker was assigned to 2nd Battalion,
30th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division,
Fort Polk, Louisiana. Cody was a highly decorated courageous soldier
whose sacrifice will never be forgotten.

The Patriot Guard extends our sincere sympathy to Cody's family, friends, and fellow soldiers.
Please join us on this mission to support Cody's family and honor Fallen Hero Pfc Cody Baker.

BRING YOUR MOTORCYCLE FLAG POLE   AND   AMERICAN FLAG.

Bring water, snack, rain gear


Keep hydrated and be prepared for inclement weather

1105 hr Flight arrives
Patriot Guard members - motorcycles only - 2-wheel and 3-wheel.
1000 hr (10AM) Meet at Forbes Air Field, 3 1/2 miles south of Topeka, KS.
From Hwy-75 turn east on 1st street south (National Guard Museum sign) entrance,
ride towards museum continue on 1st Street South,
Line up in column of 2s on right side of 1st Street South (before crossing J Street)
Need motorcycles with flagpoles - fly American flags

0730 hr (7:30AM) Staging Area opens
Re-fuel/Restrooms before you arrive at Wal-Mart parking lot to line up.
Watch for directions from the Flag Staging Crew as you ride into parking lot.
Riders with flag poles will be directed to line up in column of 2's in one area
Riders without flag poles in column of 2's in another area
Cages - 4 wheeled vehicles in another area (Cages will follow motorcycles)
Each motorcycle fly only one 3x5 flag. Bring your American flag.
